The Operations Division is responsible for fleet
management/maintenance of the district’s thirteen apparatus and
vehicles, facilities management/maintenance, and support services
(tools, supplies, etc.).
Engine Houses:
The Engine Houses of The Maryland Heights Fire District are where
all the action starts. Each house provides firefighters and
rescue personnel with "a home" while they are on duty.

Built in 1997, this Engine House 1 replaced the former House
1 located at Dorsett and Fee Fee Roads. Engine Company 4414,
Rescue 4416, Ambulance 4417, Reserve Engine 4490, and Support
Unit 4499 are located here. The engine house features a
multiple bay engine room, fitness center, and sleeping
facilities for the on-duty crew as well as the District's
administrative offices.

Built in 1972, Engine House 2 is home for Ladder Company
4425, Ambulance 4427 and Ambulance 4497. The engine house
features a double bay engine room, fitness center, and
sleeping quarters for the on-duty crew.

SPECIAL EVENTS:
The District hosts an annual open house to kick-off Fire
Prevention Week in early October. In addition, the Talking
Pumpkin takes up residence at House 1 on Halloween and Santa
Claus has been known to visit neighborhoods in the District in
